When can we expect a new release? Loving the game so far.

I don't want to promise anything but based on how much time the previous update took to make, I am guessing February of next year.

just bought the game and I love the story so far. Only problem I have is the quest log gives an error every time I click on it and I am unable to view it. It worked fine during the demo. Thanks

I'm gonna need a little bit more information to pinpoint the cause of the problem. What does the error say? Did you use the save from the demo in the main game? Does this error appear even if you start a new game in the normal game and try to open the quest log? There is a skip and cheat function when you  start a new game if you completed the prologue to make it easier to get where you were before, if some problem like this occurs.

I didn’t even think about it but yes it’s using a save from the demo. Let me restart from scratch and let you know.  That’s is the only part that doesn’t work or get an error but I will post back later about my finding. Thank you for your time.

That was the problem - sorry to have bothered you bro and I'm loving the AVN so far

Suggestion: Add corruption to your info, it will bring more people here.

The very very long intro until you get to the city was a bit much, but when you get there, it’s good.  The explicit scenes so far are good too.

I really can’t wait for the next update, can’t wait to see what’s next.

Thank you for your positive words. I am already working on a next big update with more escalating corruption and Emily's descent further into sexual acts.

I am not sure I understand the suggestion about the info though. Where should I add more info? In the game or here on the web page?

Hahahahaha I meant intro, my apologies.

You might want to include a demo version of your game. You are new and unknown and the game is at v01. Paying upfront is a big step in faith here.

And since you host external and are v01, your game is probably too big because you are using .png files for your images. If you do, switch to lossy webp, because that will make your game about 10% the size it currently has without visible quality loss. If not, why do you host external or where does the game size come from?

I am planning to release a demo alongside the next update. I can see the value for people to try it before they buy, but it was not my priority as it requires additional development time and I wanted to have something out first to establish an online presence.

You are right. When I did some testing at the start of the development the lossless .webp was not a huge save on space for each image and I did not want to do lossy because it makes some of the colors looks worse. Especially dark places and shadows. It's always been a balance and I thought at the start that it would be ok and the size would not matter but I am starting to reconsider. Right now the Game has 1000 images  with many more to come, so I might have to bite the bullet and redo the image handling in order to keep the size manageable.

There are some options to play with for lossy webp. Depending on your choice of compression, you might be better with jpeg. There is some overlap and discussion in the range of maybe 75 or some other constellation I do not quite remember. Maybe the colors look better in jpg. But I would try using the different presets for lossy webp first. My image app has picture, text, drawing and photo to chose, instead of default.

The second screenshot, the dark one in the bathing area with the walls. It is 2515kB.  As a placebo jpg with 100 it is 1249kB. A placebo webp with 100 is 612kB. An 85 webp is 172kB.

You probably can go even lower. Just do a "blind" test. Put the compressed images along with the original in a folder and scroll through them in a way, so that you do not know wich is which and see, if or at what comprssion you can tell.

I did not notice any changes with the backgrounds. But curiously enough with the shade of purple of the text. But I have a very good display for colors and darkness. The text is not part of the image, only of the screenshot you used. Those image compressions are very good at compressing photorealistic things. Though I do not know which preset would be best for that. Photo or picture. Maybe it is photo. I am sure there are guides for this for specific cases, like dark images and shadows.

Point is, even at placebo setting you can go down to 25% ;-)

already spotted a typo and I haven't even played the game yet, the 12th picture on the screen shots says waist of time. should be waste of time. going to give it a shot because I'm bored

Thanks for notifying me. It's a lot of text and these things can and will slip through. If or when you find another one just let me know and I'll fix them for the next update.

there is a typo when she is doing chores on the farm "She spends the whole afternoon doing various odjobs around the farm" odjobs should be odd jobs. When talking to the captain in the hometown he says "U will have to look for yourself Ms. Neel. I believe you to be a young, capable woman who can search for her sister without needing our help." U should be you. When talking to the church with Julia "Do you know anything about Kira that might help us find her? Anything unusal about her when she stayed here or when she left? unusal should be unusual.  When Zara directs you to talk to Oliva "And when you prove yourself capable then we can discuss the Lord's path propper" propper should be proper. "Emily's though" should be Emily's thoughts. When Emily is dream masturbating "To be swept away by the rivers of exctasy and pure bliss." exctasy should be ecstasy. also during that "I need to pull myslef together." myslef should be myself. "just sleep, no immoral thoughs. thoughs should be thoughts. "Emily falls asleep managing to supress her feelings" supress should be suppressing.

Thank you for reporting additional typos. Especially for including where they are located.
